Predictors of small and medium-sized mammal activity
There were four well-supported models for the medium-sized mammal group (Appendix S2). Activity was negatively associated with Fire extent (-1.17, [-1.92, -0.42]; 4/4 models) and NDVI before the prescribed fire (-1.42 [-2.11, -0.74]; 4/4 models) (Figure 5). Activity was also positively associated with the main effect of NDVI (0.55 [0.03, 1.06]; 2/4 models) (Figure 5). There were nine well-supported models for the small mammal group, however, none of these contained influential effects of the predictor variables. The null model was the second highest ranked model (ΔAIC = 0.32).
